This picture of the Market Place within the village of Neustadt an der Orla, Germany was taken by the author during a year 2000 research trip to Germany.

During the morning hours and weekends this market place was thriving with busy shoppers. As many of our ancestors came from Neustadt, we can easily visualize family members searching for their requirements of the day.
